Kaduna Again Shutdown by Protesting Teachers, NLC, Pupils – Pictures

Today, teachers, pupils and officials of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC)  and Nigerian Union of Teachers again shutdown Kaduna in continuation of the protest against the planned sack of over twenty thousand primary school teachers who “failed” the “primary Four” competency test organized by the state’s ministry of education headed by the renown Prof Andrew Nok.

It has been reported the protest, which is supposed to be peaceful, nearly turned violent at the ‘rubber stamp’ Kaduna State House of Assembly (KSHA) complex, but for the swift intervention of the organizers.

Below are some of the pictures of the protest from a few locations.
