Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Crisis in Southern Kaduna Meet Rufai
Senate Ad Hoc Committee on crisis in Southern Kaduna and other parts of the country have this morning commenced their work by visiting the the Kaduna State Governor Mal. Nasiru el-Rufai.
The Committee which is out for fact-finding is expected to visit affected communities in Southern Kaduna and also meet with Relevant Stakeholders in the area on the crisis.
The Committee Chaired by Senator Kabiru Gaya also has the following senators as co-members:
Senator Dino Melaye ,
Senator Isah Hamma Misau,
Senator Kabiru Marafa,
Senator Philip Gyunka
Senator Mao Ohabunwa.
Worrisome, however, is the reports being circulated on the new media that the committee has decided to shun the two Senators Danjuma La’ah (Zone III – Kaduna South) and Shehu Sani (Zone II – Kaduna Central), the areas hit most by the violence.
Kabiru Gaya is the senator representing Kano South senatorial district.

Hmmm looking at the composition of the committee members i hope and pray they will not take side of the FG as it has shown from the beginning of the crisis .I expected Sen Laah to be part of the ad-hoc committee but in God we put our TRUST- Philemon Utung
