INTRODUCTION
According to Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, defined Culture as a total way of life of people in a particular place and time.
Akurmi people are people who share their culture with the people of her clan and those around her.

The Akurmi people are blessed with so many tourist attractions, ranging from the past activities and remnants of their ancestral fathers.

Mystic Ban

According to oral tradition, the Mystic ban existed over 800 years at the mountain top, since during the time inter tribal and communal wars and the jihads form the Islamic prone, the ban was build to provide the Akurmi food to eat, the size and the quantity of such ban is ranging about 3ft height and 50cm length, the dept is about 60-70cm squire, sitting at the top of the mountainous at approximately 500 metres height.

As small as the ban is, can provide food to over millions of Akurmi people, so far they live at the mountains top, and the quantity of food inside it approximately half to a bag of grains, and once the first grains put inside the Mystic ban will not be renew till after 4 years of eating then later re-put or renew the new grains inside, because of the enemies of Akurmi, in realizing their inimical attacks, once they came to launch an attack at a particular place, the stayed in that particular place for 3 years in search of lives, after that 3 years they are sure that no more life exist there again then they move to another place to capture again.

The Mystic ban serve the people for more than the years the enemies settled beside the mountain waiting to attack them. The Mystic ban perform so many super wonder beyond human imaginations

Remnants (Ganua)

The remnants of the Akurmi ancestors at the mountainous top of Kudaru rocks, at the mountain top you will see wonders, how the people build their houses, sections by sections, rooms for training boys (Upuazu) and drinking medicines and fortifying the youth especially boy, rooms for training the girls counterpart too (Uwata-ukungarau), give girls good morals and good upbringing.

River Maigamo (Nikwara-nu-Uware-wa Akurmi)

The river located at the eastern axis of Maigamo at the basin beneath the mountainous range of Kudaru, the Old Woman lived there since from the creation of the world, and still lived there till today, this create a lot of arguments about the origin of Akurmi and life itself.

The Old woman comes out every Wednesday and Friday at noon time then later return back, she does not harm any since from the time she was known in that area till date.
Akurmi Cultural / Festival Day

The Akurmi cultural day celebrate every 26th of December in bringing people together to celebrate the day, initially, the Akurmi celebrate their clans festivals accordingly, clans like;

The renaissance for the youth of the Akurmi nation, which brought about some certain changes that transmit the level of high unity that most clans whom they participate their festivals and culture to suspend their cultural exhibition to totally succumb to general festival instead of doing their individual and shun the general one, the youth ensure that no clan left behind in carrying this cultural exhibitions in their land.

Its becoming the world most recognized festivals, where people from around the world having interest in the culture of Akurmi people, because of her artefacts of nature, the world is becoming more attracted on Akurmi cultural/festival day.

FARM PRODUCT
Akurmi were popularly known for their agricultural activities, where a lot of farm products or farming of such food was known by the Akurmi people alone, such products are:
1.Maize (Imasaraum): according to the history of maize by the Akurmi, an oral history tells that, all the journeys of Akurmi, wherever they go, they move with their farm products, because originally they are farmers, that`s why no place in Africa plant maize in the likes of Akurmi people, according research by the Fadama 3 in 2003, Saminaka is the largest maize market in Africa, because of the dominance of Akurmi people in the area.

2.Finger Millet, (Ijanahm) historical, no tribe or community can bee seen with such plant except the Akurmi people. The quantity is about 0.02mm, dark in colour, which remain among the best food in Akurmi people, it used in making pap (ngosorouw) [mburruru or nsalalah] and fufu (T`parrah)

3.Millet (ISHINA), the Akurmi people were well known for their farming activities where millet was among the seed that they were known for, for their agricultural farming, because their farming activities, millet was among the products that their spiritual leader UWARE KAKA give orders UYYA, whoever harvest his farm products without given order from their spiritual leader, the person pays homage to the men of the cultured, or be punished and cast out of the land.

POPULATION
1911 Census, the Akurmi population was 100, 481 second to the largest Hausa ethnic group in the state. This figure was tracked and was given for Kaduna state alone.

Due to recent growth rate by the statisticians, the population of Nigeria is vastly increasing at 4% annually. That means, the population of Akurmi people 100,481 plus the population of other states by 4% by 105 years of peaceful coexistence, it will be rated at over 15,000,000 to 20,000,000. Respectively.

ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
1.Farming and Hunting: the Akurmi people 90% of their major activities is farming, and most of their people 90% are farmers too, other activities is supplements to their major activities, they contest in their farming where so many groups were created and where the history of Akurmi leadership trace its origin, where

Iyane group, group of youth that farm in the farm within their age mates,
B`rube, the group also help each other to accomplish his job at the farm where a single person will not be able to do it in a week, but in a group they accomplished it in a day in time.

Ugaiyye, this group comprise of all the status and genders working for the particular community
B`tara, the group formed in helping less privilege who could not do the work by themselves, the group serve the work in there farm and be paid at the end of year immediately after harvesting time, before this work to take place, in agreement with the workers, the farmer will give a token to the youth, this called “Usaraah” then feed them during the work.

The lives of people in Akurmi who show their heroism in Akurmi land in farming and hunting, in likes of Awiyya of Were the best blacksmith, Haruna the great hunter, Uwangu of Payau, Ujiarre of Laggah who borrow state government money to pay workers and carryout capital projects in the state.

2.Trading: the Akurmi people are blessed with their agricultural products where it became the source of their trading to the other communities around them, the oral distinction of trading of Akurmi people, was based on crop to crop, crop to land, crop for marriage as a dowry, because in those days their was nothing like money,
Akurmi people are very good in trading their farm products, their experience with blacksmith finished goods too to the market,

3.Fishing: the fishing is pleasurable activities in Akurmi land, fishing is a seasonal activities, it occurs after farming time where no one goes to farm any longer to farm, so fishing was not taken as a serious activities compare to farming and trading.

4.Art and Craft making, etc: The Akurmi people are crafty people who construct farming tools for their farming, plates and other kitchen tools for their feeding and thatch roofing items, constructing of tools for the security of their lands.
